The French musician J-War seems to be treating us with a new MSX game song remake every day now. This time, another song from the popular Konami game Usas was released today.

J-War is pretty busy these days.

Yesterday we reported about the website of the French musician J-War, where several re-arranged versions of popular MSX songs van be found. Today, a remake of one of the Usas in=game songs has been added to this site. You can find it in the Divers section, under Remakes JV

In our search for the best MSX game song ever we are very close to selecting which SCC songs are going to compete against 2 PSG and 2 MSX-Music songs in the frontpage in the near future. There's two more rounds of SCC-voting to go and SD-Snatcher and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake have left all the competition far behind. It's up to you to decide which 4 songs will move on to the next and final round.

J-War is the website of a french music composer. In the Remakes JV section of his website several remakes of MSX game songs can be found in the Divers section.

We reported before about the development of a Dosbox Roland MT-32 emulator which could be used to listen to the amazing MIDI-soundtracks of MSX games like IllusionCity. After some more improvements to its emulation (it sounds near perfect now) the developers decided to make a Windows 98/2000/XP driver out of it.

We have added some information on the upcomping Spresiano MSX & Retrocomputing meeting 2003 to our MSX fairs & meetings list. The Spresiano meeting is to be held on September 28th, 2003.

A new version of the fMSX emulator for Nokia Series 60 mobile phones was released today. Many of the suggestions given in this forum thread were already implemented.
