Pengu Racer 1.4
One of the 11 contributions to the Under Water Challenge was the MSX1 game 'Pengu Racer', which was completely coded in BASIC. As of now, an improved version of this game is available here.
Green Beret remake
TDB Soft created a Windows remake of the classic Konami game Green Beret. This remake was created in 2001 and based on the C64 version, but it's still nice to have a look at it anyway.
KlaxMSX - Restyled
Last week we reported about the new SMMSX Bulletin at KlaxMSX. Unfortunately, the frontpage of the KlaxMSX website was defaced shortly after.
Hans Otten has updated his website with more than 200 pictures of his computer colelction. You can see many MSX computers, peripherals and magazines from many brands in his Computer collection section.
Coral 2 teaser
Yesterday Infinite released their MRC Under Water Challenge. To encourage Moonsound owners to upgrade to 640 KB of SRAM they made a one-minute teaser to get an impression of the music. Happy Listening!
Several weeks ago, we reported about hispamsx.org being hacked. Due to this incident, the website was closed and forced to upgrading and improving the security. Today, hispamsx.org goes back online with a fully-restored website.
On March 29th we started the second MSX Resource Center development contest: the Under Water Challenge. Now, only six weeks later, this challenge has come to an end.
Just in time, Benno van den Boogaard sent us the 11th and final entry to the Under Water Challenge: an MSX1 game called Pengu Racer.
Ricardo Bittencourt and Cyberknight submitted the 10th entry to the Under Water Challenge: a port of the classic SEGA Arcade game N-Sub. This version was ported from SG-1000 to MSX.
