LIBDOS2 version 3

Arnold Metselaar has released an update of LIBDOS2, adding functions to make, read and remove directories. LIBDOS2 is a library that can be used with HiTech-C to produce programs that can use MSX-DOS2 specific features. An extra header file, source files and documentation are all included in the package. The new functions use only high-level bdos-calls and are FAT16 compatible.

Many MSX fans around the world cherish good memories of the Dutch MSX fairs of the 1990s. Once a year, large international MSX meetings were held in both Tilburg and Zandvoort, which attracted thousands of visitors from all around the world.

Tero Weckroth and Mika Savolainen have declared their Finnish MSX1 game Miner Machine freeware. The game, which was inspired by the classic Boulder Dash, was released in Finland in 1986.

Eduardo Mello of Opcode games has released a demo version of a Pac Man remake he is currently developing for MSX. The goal is to create a version of the game that comes as close as possible to the original Arcade version of the game, as released in 1980.
