HRA has updated his One Chip MSX fansite with a new VHDL patch that increases the amount of RAM in the One Chip MSX's MSX2 configuration from 1MB to an even more respectable 2MB.
Bart Roijmans (Low Profile) has released an italo/space synth remake of his song Solitary Void. As it is not an MSX composition, it isn't an entry for the Italo Challenge, but it's a stand-alone tribute to the italo genre.
Kralizec released an IPS patch for Metal Gear which allows the game to save and load from disk. It only works with the Japanese release of Metal Gear.
Ademir Carchano from MSX Projetos Brazil is widely known for his hardware development such the ACVS MSX2 upgrade kit, MegaRAM, ADVRAM and others. Currently he is developing a new MSX "motherboard" which goes by the title of 'MSX-UNI'. MSX-UNI can be installed on older Brazilian MSX computers (HotBit/Expert) or in a PC desktop.
Javier Pérez has released a partial English translation of Crimson III, a MSX2 RPG from XtalSoft. Due to the lack of colaboration, the project was not finished; however, the work is enough to give the game a try.

The first 11 competing teams at MSXdev'06 have already won a special shockware edition of Karoshi's Griel's Quest for the Sangraal produced by Matra. But, the other 6 competing development groups are not left empty handed.

YS - 20th anniversary
20 years ago Falcom released the first episode in the YS saga which gave Falcom the opportunity to celebrate. On an "official portal website", as Falcom calls it, the YS series is celebrated.
