Matsushita, the company that developed the latest and greatest MSX computer, the Panasonic MSX turboR, have released a new product codenamed MS-X1. Unfortunately it's not the device we have all been hoping for, unless you are in need of fresh air ;)
YM2413 voicebank
On the Illusion City website a new section has been added about the YM2413, also known as the Yamaha OPLL sound chip, as used in the MSX-MUSIC (FM-PAC) standard.

In the application section of his websites, all the hyperlinks go to screenshots of the related topics. Especially the new OPL4 section is very interesting to have a look at.
At the MSX Magazine Party at the 8th of March 2003, a questionairre was held amongst the visitors of this party. A total of 154 people responded to it. At the official MSX Magazine website the results are displayed.
The first graph shows the number of issues bought by someone.
In the upcoming issue of the Japanese DOS/V magazine, there will be special attention to the MSX computers, due to the MSX revival. It's already known that the magazine - due to be released April 15th - will contain an article about Uzix, the UNIX clone for MSX.

Team 5547 is a new Japanese composer, who makes music for the PSG using Musica. On his website you can download four different songs, inspired by European 80s club music.
DRMSX soundwork
On the DRMDigitalwork website, a new section called DRMSX soundwork can be found. Right here you can find several interesting MP3 and BGM (Musica) files created on MSX, using PSG, SCC and FM-PAC (OPLL/MSX-Music) sound chips.
This saturday there will be a MSX Meeting in Mariënberg, which is located in the eastern part of The Netherlands. Some members of the MSX Resource Center visited meetings in Mariënberg before (even took some pictures) and really liked the atmosphere.
