Rowen Remis R. Iral has opened a new MSX website, which aims to promote the MSX standard in the Philippines. As far as we know, this is the first MSX website located in the Philippines. Plans are being made to organize fairs and meetings with foreign MSX users in order to bring the MSX computer to attention in the Philippines as well.

On the internet there are several MSX start pages where one can find links to many MSX websites around the world. Basically, the MSX Resource Center started as such a starting page many years ago.
MSX Info Update 2005
Three active MSX users from Finland, Stt, Ahti & NYYRIKKI, have joined forces in order to organize MSX Info Update 2005, an MSX user meeting in Helsinki, Finland on August 27th. During the meeting you can see, sell and obtain MSX hardware, software and T-Shirts. You can also come to hear the latest MSX news and see some rare MSX Hardware, such as MSX LaserDisk games, in action.
MSX Forum: 50,000 posts
On June 30th, 2004 our MSX Forum, which was launched on September 27th, 2000, crossed the 25,000 posts barrier. Now, a bit more than 13 months later, we have just crossed the 50,000 posts barrier.
The 2005 edition of MSXRio is to be held on September 10th and 11th in Centro do Rio de Janeiro, Rua do Ouvidor 14, Rio, Brazill. During this 2-day event active MSX event from Brazil (and beyond) gather to show their latest developments.
One Chip MSX song competition
The Japanese composer Wiz has launched a music competition to support the One Chip MSX pre-ordering.
MAD music studio have released a re-arrangement of Snatcher's Twilight of Neo Kobe city BGM. The remake was created in MuSiCa, using the PSG, MSX-MUSIC and SCC sound chips.

The Dutch developers Darkstone, known from Bounce Mania, CLS, Push'em and Xmas have just launched a website on their MSX development activities right here.
