His name is Venture, Ed Venture. He's the hero of a newly announced MSXdev'11 entry, conceived in ray2day's mind. It'll be a classic platform game in which Ed Venture needs to find keys, naturally surrounded by enemies driving him crazy. When ready, it'll probably be a game requiring only 16KB RAM.
Demon's Palace
A Japanese person has made a game inspired by Konami's Knightmare II - The Maze of Galious. The name of the game is Demon's Palace. Although it is not 100% true to the technical MSX limits (although it's very close) it looks and plays like an MSX game.
MSXdev'11 #02 - Robots
From the looks of it, this year's edition of MSXdev is going to bring us an exceptional amount of brand new MSX1 games! Less than a month into the competition, the second completed entry has already been submitted.

IMS player for MoonSound
Shortly after the IMS Player for FM-PAC, the active Korean MSX developer Sharksym also released an IMS player for MoonSound. This version supports custom sound banks and needs about 256kB or RAM in order to be able to play a 100kB IMS file.

FMPSG 015 - Strawberry
On May 1st, 2011 - during the Music + Media Mix Market (M3) - the fifteenth edition of FMPSG, a Japanese series of audio CDs containing tracks from various Japanese (MML) chiptune composers, is to be released.
