On January 26th, 2005 we started the MRC Airwaves Challenge. With about 2 weeks to go until the deadline, Alfonso D.C. (Dioniso) sent us the second entry to this challenge: Magical boxes.
Earlier this month, Near Dark published a photoshoot of the January 2005 MCWF meeting and allowed the MRC to publish these pictures in the photo shoots section as well.

Surgey Bulba, the developer of Vortex Tracker II, has released a Universal .PT2 player for both MSX and ZX-Spectrum. Thanks to Surgey, both PT3 files (using one of these PT3 tools) and PT2 files can be played on MSX computers.

Yesterday there were two MSX meetings in the Netherlands: the Mariënberg meeting and auction and, the 26 hour MSX Posse Retro Days. On MSX Posse you can now find a photoshoot of the MSX Posse retro days.

Earlier this week we added a tool called Eprom bits reorganizer to the MRC downloads database. Marcos Daniel, the developer of the tool, sent us a new version, fixing a critical bug.

Runit 1.01
Near Dark released a new version of Runit, a tool which can be used to start disk images from IDE and SCSI media such as Harddisk, ZIP or CompactFlash. The tool is an improved version of the popular START.COM, but uses less (and a different part of the) memory, making it possible to run more games with it.
