MSX World 2005
On the 8th of May, 2005, probably the biggest MSX event in years will be held in Tokyo, Japan. Its name? MSX World 2005 (I love MSX). The fair will be held in the heart of Akihabara, on the second floor of a large building close to the subway-station and will take part from 11:00 - 17:00.
ILAC'04 - Update
Konamiman has updated the ILAC website with new information and a new project.
The MSX platform has never been suffered a lot from viruses. As far as we know, there's only one MSX virus out in the open: the ZAPP virus, for which a nice antivirus utility exists as well.
As you probably all know the MSX Resource Center is available in English, Spanish, Dutch and Portuguese.
MRAMDISK 1.0

Adriano has released MRAMDISK, a utility to turn a MegaRAM expansion as a RAMDISK, adding an extra driveletter to the system. Currently, MRAMDISK only works in MSX-DOS 1.xx. You can find MRAMDISK in the software section of Adriano's MSX pages.

IOMBCC entries 11 to 15
It's been a while since we reported about the IOMBCC (International Obfuscated MSX-BASIC Code Contest), but the coders of obfuscated MSX-BASIC listings have been far from inactive.
We have just started a new megapoll, in search of the most favorite MSX game character. As of now, you can send in your nominations and share who/what is your favorite MSX game character and why in this forum thread. You can send in your nominations until April 24th, 23:59 CET. Happy nominating!
We have just added a link to the MSX Network website at our links section. The website contains information on the Russian Yamaha MSX network, which was used in many schools in Russia during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
