Downloads top 10; March 2005
It's the first of the month, so lets have a look at which files have been downloaded the most during March 2005. We had an amazing amount of downloads last month.
C-BASIC 0.01
Boukichi has just released C-BASIC 0.01, a freely distributable MSX-BASIC compatible BASIC interpreter.
In August 2004 we reported about ObsoNET: Ethernet for MSX. Finally, it would be possible to connect MSX computers to the internet and/or a home network by using ordinary ethernet connections.
Iron Star is an MSX 1 compatible game developed by Paulo Larini in the 80's. He started developing this game around 1986, and it took almost four years to finish it.
April Fools!
Dear MRC visitors,
We have seriously pulled your leg. On March 28th we reported IGN had acquired the MSX Resource Center. Nothing could be further from the truth. It was a 100% genuine April fools joke.
Disk-Manager 0.10
Rudolf Lechleitner released a new version of Disk-Manager, a tool which can be used to browse and alter the contents of disk images. This release adds drag&drop support and fixes a bug which prevented Disk-BASIC and MSX-DOS from accessing some files.
MSX Solutions - Update
The MSX Solutions website has been updated. This time a map of Taito's all-time classic Arkanoid II - Revenge of Doh was added to its downloads section.
YS2 battle BGM by Hackurl
Hackurl released two new songs today, one of which is MSX related: a re-arrangement of the battle BGM of Falcom's legendary RPG YS 2 - The Final Chapter.

UniversMSX back online
Taken offline a fews weeks ago, The French site UniversMSX is now back online and hosted on The MSX Games bOX until the old domain name issue gets solved.
