In about 2 weeks, we received 224 votes in our poll related to the MSX Festival. We'd like to thank the MRC regulars for giving their opinions once again.
On the MSX Festival (more information about that festival can be found here) several new products were introduced to the MSX Community.

The Japanese MSX-FAN used to carry a Fandom corner, in which programs submitted by its readers were introduced to the public. Now this corner suddenly revived on the Internet.
A user called Rashell went to the trouble of unraveling the legal issues concerning redistribution of these old programs.
We recently reported about the International Computer Meeting in Tilburg, which is to be held on Saturday, April 26th.
This annual computer meeting is intended for all computer system, but the main part is occupied by MSX. The MSX Resource Center will be there with lots of interesting things.

An update for the recently released fMSXSO 1.32 is out now. A bug related to the clockchip settings was fixed.

After moving from MSX to Nintendo (well, sort of) to Sony Playstation to PC, Konami now confirmed that a Metal Gear game for Nintendo Gamecube is in the making. It will be a remake of the first edition of Metal Gear Solid, improving gameplay and animations.
The 15th lineup of retro software is being sold by EGG. The lineup consists of 6 games and this time all games are MSX titles. Amongst them are PICO PICO and Albatross.

A new version of the NLMSX frontend VisualMSX was launched today.
C-BIOS 0.15
Boukichi started working on his C-BIOS project again. C-BIOS replaces the (copyrighted) MSX BIOS ROM files and can be used with MSX Emulators to run MSX software. Today, version 0.15 was released. In this version some small bugs were fixed once again. People who are running emulators, should really try this alternative.
