Brazilian MSX fan sd_snatcher just released a new version of the Firehawk patch from last week. New in this version:
- Fixed a bug that caused problems when changing disks in MSX-DOS1
- Fixed the HTIMI handling.
Xaklogian
Gyonin, a quite active creator of MSX-like PC games such as Volcabamba is at it again. His newest work in progress, dubbed "Xaklogian" is a top-down perspective shooter.

New MSX2+ kit
For those not aware of it yet, Ricardo Oazem (known from hardware projects such as the VSU) has decided to make a new kit (based upon fudebas' kit) with which you can transform your MSX1 machine to an MSX2+.
Nextor 2.0 Alpha 2b
Konamiman has published a new alpha version of Nextor, the MSX-DOS 2 compatible operating system. There are no new features on this version, but several bugs were fixed.

It has taken over ten years (on and off) and a lot of assistance, including help from our active MRC forums, and now it's ready!
Three years ago, the website PassionMSX started a new contest. It was an interesting initiative to get some more attention to MSX2 game development, after MSXdev has assumingly taken away most of the MSX2 development.
