For more than three months we had a poll running on our frontpage, asking which combination of connection and display gives the best display on MSX. Right from the start, there was a clear leader and winner.

A new version of BARGAIN, an image (de)compression toolkit for all MSX screen modes has been released. Most notable change in this version is an important bugfix. The bug caused corrupted compression in SCREEN 5 and SCREEN 6.

MRC Newsletter #16 online

It has been ages since we sent out an MRC newsletter. As we would normally add the previous newsletter to our archive of MSX Resource Center Newsletter when we sent out a new one, the last and (for now?) final edition of the MRC Newsletter was never added to our archive. Until now.

D4 Enterprise have re-released the MSX version of Bothtec's shooter Topple Zip in EGG English. Topple Zip was released for MSX1 in 1986 and for MSX2 in 1987.

Earlier this year, the rights and source code to the popular MSX/Z80 cross-assembler asMSX were sold by its original developer pitpan.

Brazilian MSX fan sd_snatcher is on a roll recently, releasing more enhancement patches than we can keep up with.
