An update to the recently released fMSX emulator for Android has been released. The most important change, apart from quite some bug fixes, is the support for Android 2.2 (Froyo). Previously, the emulator was only available for Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).

WORP3 has just published an updated version of the MIDI-PAC manual. The MIDI-PAC is a nifty device that offers real-time MSX-MUSIC to MIDI conversion.

Earlier this week Kojima announced Sdatcher, a Snatcher-inspired radio drama for Hideradio's 300th podcast, making the return of Snatcher more hopeful.

A new version of MSX Acid2Test has been released. New in this version:

  • It now has distinct I/O input and output ports from/to the VDP. This catches programming mistakes on handling the VDP.DR and VDP.DW (0006h & 0007h) BIOS variables
  • Fixed a bug on MSX-DOS2 support

Brazilian MSX game expert sd_snatcher has updated two of his previous patches for Metal Gear 2 and King's Valley 2. Fixes in these versions:

  • Support for warmboot.
