Perhaps more than other games, Auf Wiedersehen Monty is known for its music. Its iconic tune may not be epic and huge in the way Micro Cabin games are, or spectacular like Space Manbow is, but many oldskoolers are nonetheless fascinated by it.

Today, Muffie has released another Colecovision-to-MSX conversion: Jungle Hunt. Features include:

  • Coleco Keypad is emulated on the number keys from 1 to 0. "*" and "#" are emulated on "-" and "=".

Yukio drew our attention to the MiniGame Compo 2008. It is a competition for 1, 2 and 4 kB games on a variety of 8-bit platforms, including MSX. At this moment only the 4k competition is still running.

Programmer Vincent van Dam (also known as joyrex from the dvik-joyrex duo) has decided to release his WIP version of a MIDI framework. The framework is an implementation of the MIDI protocol, and allows applications to create event handlers on MIDI-in events to easily create MIDI applications.
