MSX Association opens European website

MSX Association, who are sponsoring the two MSX Events in Den Dolder and Madrid, have opened a European website. For the moment you can read about these events and about a related Event banner you can place on your website in case you choose to organize such an event yourself.

AUIC, in cooperation with MSX Association, will organize an MSX event in Madrid on June 28th, just one day after the 25th MSX anniversary.

Recently we've reported about the Nowind interface being finished.

A new entry for the 25th Anniversary MSX-BASIC contest, organized by Konamito.com, has been released. FarAwayCorporation, a group consisting out of Gobblin, msxdummie and tanoki, have decided to join their efforts with this entry as result: Space Scape! In this game, things couldn't have been worse: stuck on Mars.

A new entry for the 25th Anniversary MSX-BASIC contest, organized by Konamito.com has been presented to the world yesterday: UFO. In this heavily retro-styled game, made by French MSX user MSXosaure, the objective is all about saving humanity from invaders from outer space.

Just like in earlier years, the MSXdev contest will provide a steady flow of news. Just a few days after the opening of the contest and the announcement of the first sponsor the first project for this contest has been announced!

Yesterday, the RU Barcelona meeting was being held. A short video-impression of this event was made and uploaded to YouTube. Additional photoshoots will probably appear shortly as well.

Out of the blue, the blueMSX team, with hap (the outspoken Audrey Tautou fan who is best known for his meisei MSX1 emulator) as freshly recruted programmer, released a new version of their MSX emulator. The list of changes is quite big, so we'll only mention the most significant ones.
