GP2X-MSX 1.0.4
A new version of this MSX1/2/2+ emulator for the open source GP2x game- and media handheld was released a few days ago.
New in this version:
- Huge speed improvements
- New graphics
- Display and save thumbnail images for each save state
- Added a simple intro splash screen
- Support iso8859-1 fonts in p
MSX users yum (Robert Vroemisse) and DemonSeed (John Hassink) have created a rearrangement of the intro demo song from HyDeFos, an MSX2 game relased by Hertz in 1989.
bgMSX - Majikazo added
bgMSX has added music from Majikazo to their ever growing database of currently 1909 songs, which consists out of 111 games and 50 composers. Majikazo's music was made by Carlo Bandini, for PSG and MSX-Music. This, and some other information, can be read on the bgMSX website, as usual.
MSX History - update
The website MSX History has updated the Epcom article with new information about the list of cartridges launched, in Brazil only.
Some MSX meetings will remain to be unique, such as MSX Info Update, quite possibly the only place on earth where blue MSX cakes, vikings and SymbOS would be present together (yes, you read that correct: yet another country in which Prodatron demoed his famous project!).

New LPEMMC v4 cards
Leonardo Padial and Kralizec are working on a new version of the LPEMMC card. This card will support two different working modes:
- Traditional mode, fully compatible with previous LPEMMC versions and YeongMan Seo hardware.
The LPEMMC Driver consists of a BIOS, tools and a set of programs intended for handling the LPEMMC v1-v3 card or the MMC/SD Disk Interface Card by Yeongman Seo.
One week ago we reported about video footage of the MSX fair in Zandvoort 1991, filmed by Kier Kracht. With the release of that video on MSX Posse it was already announced that more videos from Kier Kracht would be released in the future.
