The French MSX community portal MSX Café now offers the PowerMSX archives - scanned in PDF format. PowerMSX was a French MSX magazine that was issued between 1994 and 1997. The first 9 (out of 17) issues are now available for download.

A new version of this MSX1/2/2+ emulator for the open source GP2x game- and media handheld was released a few days ago.

New in this version:

  • Huge speed improvements
  • New graphics
  • Display and save thumbnail images for each save state
  • Added a simple intro splash screen
  • Support iso8859-1 fonts in p

MSX users yum (Robert Vroemisse) and DemonSeed (John Hassink) have created a rearrangement of the intro demo song from HyDeFos, an MSX2 game relased by Hertz in 1989.

bgMSX - Majikazo added

bgMSX has added music from Majikazo to their ever growing database of currently 1909 songs, which consists out of 111 games and 50 composers. Majikazo's music was made by Carlo Bandini, for PSG and MSX-Music. This, and some other information, can be read on the bgMSX website, as usual.
