HDDEMU removed from downloads section

On request of Kuniji Ikeda, the current owner of the copyrights to HDDEMU, we have removed the floppy disk emulation tool HDDEMU from our downloads section. Although the tool has appeared on several other freeware distribution platforms, HDDEMU has never been declared freeware.

Although we had reported about the website several times before, a link to MSX História had not yet been added to our links database. MSX História is a website dedicated to the restoration of cartridge labels, manuals and covers.

JEmu2/MSX 2.2

Last week, a new version of JEmu2/MSX was released. Changes in this version:

  • Added preliminary MSX-2 support. (sprite colours not correct yet, some missing VDP opcodes)
  • Added enhanced drivers for Knightmare and Nemesis 2, which make background scrolling smoother
  • Released the source code (see the 'about' page)

We just added a link to the MSX.bas website to our links section. MSX.bas is a Portuguese website which focusses on the development of programs in MSX-BASIC. So, if you're a BASIC developer who can read a little Portuguese, be sure to check this site out.
