SMR #8: BDD's Theme 3
Erik van Hezik sent us the eigth entry to the MRC Scene Music Remake Challenge. From Impact, he re-arranged BDD's Theme 3.

The Japanese chiptune composer Hackurl has yet again released several MSX/SCC flavored chiptune remakes on his website. This time, he remade the first two stage BGMs from Gradius 2 - Gofer no Yabou, and a tune from Sexy Parodius.
F1 Spirit Remake AC6
Yesterday, a new version of the F1 Spirit Remake was released.
On November 13th, the HispaMSX BBS opened its doors. Thanks to ObsoNet or RS232 it's fairly easy to connect to this BBS from a genuine MSX computer, allowing you to e.g. read the latest posts on various MSX mailinglists and newsgroups from your own MSX computer.
Almost a year ago, thanks to this forum thread, Adriano Cunha created a partitioning tool for the BEER 202 IDE Interface. The BEER 202 IDE interface was originally designed by Egor Voznesenski of SOLID.
Arnold Metselaar has made libfix, a package of various additions, bugfixes and other improvements to the libc.lib and libf.lib that come with HiTech-C. It contains changes by Pierre Gielen and by Arnold Metselaar. The new libc.lib is designed to work under MSX-DOS 1. For MSX-DOS2 users there is libdos2, which has also been updated.
Arnold Metselaar has made some improvements to his make utility for MSX-DOS2. Make allows to recompile, or reassemble, only those sourcefiles that have actually been changed.
MSX Rating
Many years ago, Novatec hosted a service called MSX Rating. It was a ranking system, presenting a list of the most visited MSX WebSites. Unfortunately, MSX Rating was disabled a long time ago.
Ai no Yabou - Restyled
Ai no Yabou, the site that holds the scores achieved during the gamescompetitions held at the MSX Vriendenclub Mariënberg meetings, has been restyled and updated with the most recent highscores.
