MSX Café, a new community website for French speakers has opened its doors. With the aim to gather all ex- and new MSX users from France and beyond, MSX Café has put much attention in building a place where everybody is welcome and can come share their MSX experiences around a pint of beer, a few peanuts and hopefully a lot of good laughs.

After this thread appeared on our ever active MSX Forum, we felt it was high time for a new megapoll. This time, our quest is to find out which MSX game has the coolest artwork ever.

On August 21st we opened a new poll, asking our visitors 'How many working MSX computers do you currently own?'.

MSX mini museum on ASCII headquarters

On the 11th floor of the headquarters of ASCII, a small MSX museum can be found, where the new 3 MSX magazines, a Panasonic FS-A1-WX, a Casio MX-10 and the One Chip MSX prototype are on display.

HackUrl released an arrangement of the song Fire Scramble from the FamiCom version of Nemesis III (called Gradius III on Famicom). The song can be downloaded in MP3 format from HackUrl's website.

A few months ago, a new MSX chat channel aiming at generic MSX talk and development was opened on Rizon. During its first months, the channel already grew quite a lot of regular visitors who discovered the channel by word of mouth.

Yesterday the annual MSX fair in Bussum, organized by TNI, was held. No less than 14 standholders and many more visitors attended the fair. As of now, a photo shoot of no less than 168 pictures taken during the day is available in our ever growing photo shoots section.

Near Dark have published a short and funny photo report on the trip from Friesland (Netherlands) to Bussum, the meeting itself and the trip back, which you can read on the Disk Interactive section of their website.
