SeD_NcL has informed us that the first pictures of the Bussum 2005 MSX fair have been added to the MSX Posse photo-gallery. While some pictures of other members are still missing, it already gives a nice impression of the fair.
Famitsu.com released some new audio CD's containing the soundtracks of famous Falcom MSX titles. These CD's can be ordered online from famitsu.com.
KbMedia Player 2.42beta
KbMediaPlayer which supports OPX and, when using the MSXPlug plugin, KSS, BGM, MPK and MGS formats, has been updated to version 2.42 beta. This is the Japanese version.
Krazilec's Dahku preview
A playable promo version of the upcoming MSX2 game Dahku by Kralizec has been put online at the Bitwise website. Dahku is not yet available for order, but is expected to be in the near future.
As already mentioned in this newspost, Hideo Kojima, the creator of the famous Metal Gear series, and the well known Snatcher games, often refers to the MSX system as the origin of his games. Currently Hideo Kojima is maintaining a web blog on his production site.
This Saturday, on the annual MSX fair in Bussum, Sunrise will start the sale of the Sunrise MSX Game Reader.
Falcom have announced they are working on a new game inspired by the popular YS series, of which 3 editions were released on MSX. The new game in development is not an RPG, however, it will be a strategic game for the portable Nintendo DS.
