The first MSX emulator for Sony PSP, HitBit emulator, has just been updated to version 0.2. In this new edition of this very early alpha of the emulator, MSX1 screen output is functioning correctly.
Falcom have released a trailer of their upcoming game YS: The oath in Felghana, about which we reported earlier.
On April 16th we started a new megapoll, in search of the most favorite MSX game character. Out of 162 nominees, 6 have managed to make it to the frontpage poll, after 5 rounds of voting in our ever active MSX Forum.

IPS stands for International Patching System. It is a standardized way of patching existing files and it is available for many computersystems already. The MSX version is being developed by Albert Beevendorp (BiFi).

After celebrating it's 50th birthday on June 1st, Namco was awarded for it's entrance in the Guinnes Book of World records. Pac-Man is listed as the "most successful coin operated game" in history.
The April issue of UK based Retro Gamer magazine talks about MSX. Their web page reads: "This month we head up a jam-packed issue with an in-depth look into the world of the chameleon gaming system that was the MSX, revealing Microsoft's true roots in gaming".

BOMBMAN enters MSXdev'05
Andrea Gasparini has sent a new game to MSXdev'05: BOMBMAN, an arcade game in which you have to destroy all the bombs within a maze before the time runs out. If not, the tremendous explosion will kill you. This simple game concept was programmed in MSX-BASIC and then converted to ROM.
