Marcos Daniel, the author of Final Copy and DSKpro, has sent us an update of CHKMEM.
Hackurl has published an mp3 of the final boss BGM of Metal Max 2. The song was created on MSX in MuSiCa and uses a combination of the PSG, SCC and OPLL sound chips. On Hackurl's website you can listen to this and many other MSX-flavored songs.
On May 26th, Taito and Falcom are to release a Playstation 2 version of YS IV: The mask of the Sun.
MegaRAM Disk ROM 1.1
On Adriano's MSX pages you can find a new ROM for the DDX MegaRAM disk, capable of automatically recognizing MegaRAM cartridges of up to 2MB and fully DOS2 compliant. This new version of the ROM incorporates several minor bug fixes.
The Darkness God Of Destroy (website) has just been updated with an article about the trip BodyHammeR made to Madrid, visiting the MadriSX MSX fair. On the same website you can also find a collection of pictures taken during this trip.
Earlier today we already reported about the amazing amount of visitors to the 10th anniversary edition of MadriSX. Just now, the first photo shoot of the event has been published on Iban Nieto Castillero's blog.

Together with the release of openMSX 0.5.1 a new website completely dedicated to this opensource, portable MSX emulator was opened.
On January 26th we started a brand new MRC music composing challenge: the Airwaves challenge. The challenge resulted in 8 different songs, all with a common theme: modern music. Although this theme is subject to many different interpretations, the results speak for themselves.
On November 28th, 2004 we published the results to the MRC Bounce Challenge, posting the full results in this forum thread.
