Another finished MSX game is now available at the MSXdev'04 contest list: T-Virus, coded by Dioniso, who also participated in MSXdev'03 with PENGUIN RACE.
T-VIRUS is an excellent shoot'em-up with cartoonish graphics, fast action and incredible music and sound. This one is difficult!

It's a real treat when every now and then, longtime MSX composers such as Wolf and Low_Profile surprise us with a cool arrangement of a famous MSX tune we can all whistle along to. You probably all remember the Dragonslayer 6 intro Wolf did last year.

This time it is Low_Profile who made an arrangement of the 'world-theme' from Dragonslayer 6.

Just a few weeks ago, we added a link to the MAD Music Studio. On this website you can find a large collection of often MSX inspired tunes. The composer obviously likes chiptunes and at the moment, he is very active adding many songs to his database.

Julio Marchi of msxall has started an MSX chat channel on his own IRC server, after the afternet network (on which the popular Brazilian MSX channel was located) had been down for several days. The new IRC server is intended to be used solely for the MSX channel. MSX users from all over the world are invited to have a look and test the channel.

Nestor Soriano released a new version of InterNestor Lite, his toolkit which allows you to connect your MSX running MSX-DOS to the internet. Furthermore, InterNestor lite allows you to code your own internet applications.

We recenlty announced the 2004 edition of MSXRio 2004 would be held on the 30th and 31st of July this year. However, due to several circumstances, the fair was postponed to the 27th, 28th and 29th of August.
