Earlier today we closed the first round of the MSX in the Media Challenge, which resulted in a grand total of 80 nominations. Over here you can vote for which MSX in the Media event you liked the most.

Bomb Jack for MSX2 is an interesting port of the arcade classic for MSX, developed by Kralizec. Bomb Jack was released on October 30th, during the 26th MSX User meeting of Barcelona. Today, the Dutch MSX group Bitwise announced they will be distributing the game in the Netherlands.

6 months sooner than expected, we have decided to close the first edition of the MSX in the Media Challenge. The reason for this early closing is the huge amount of nominations we have received already: a grand total of 80 events of MSX getting attention in Media that usually don't report on MSX were reported in those six months.

On Generation MSX you can find an ever growing overview of MSX software that has been released in the past. As of today more than 400 screenshots of Spanish MSX software were added to the database. Another recent addition was a statistics page on which one can see the 10 most visited pages on Generation MSX by month.

DrMSX has released yet another MSX song for PSG, OPLL and SCC in both MP3 and MGS format on his DrMSX Soundwork pages. In this new song, called Grigori, DrMSX experiments with breakbeats on MSX.
