As of today a new version of blueMSX is available. The most important new feature in version 2.0 is turboR emulation, including PCM support (only playback) and turboR SRAM. MIDI support is planned for future versions.

Especially for the Bombaman level edit challenge Team Bomba wrote a quick tutorial that explains how to create your own Bombaman levels in just 10 minutes. As you will find out by reading the tutorial, creating Bombaman levels is really easy.

We just reported about a huge collection of MSXJaú 2004 photoshoots. If you can't get enough of those pictures we've got more fresh pictures for you: on Manu's website you can find pictures taken on the Japanese Southern Kantou user meetings throughout the year.

MarMSX has just released a new version of MSX Viewer, a PC tool to load, edit and convert MSX pictures to different screen modes.

A new version of the SDCC backend for MSXDOS, about which we reported before, has just been released. In this version the interrupts can be handled by using the new reserved 'interrupt' syntax and the library of functions for altering, installing and uninstalling the ISR.

User meeting MSX Club West Friesland

Saturday november 27th the MSX Club West Friesland will be holding another user-meeting in the 'Wijkcentrum Risdam', Scheerder 1, 1625 VA, Hoorn. The entry costs 3 euros, and everyone is invited for a nice day of MSXing. For more info and directions to the location you can visit the MCWF website.

MRC Bounce Challenge - Update

On July 18th 2004 we started the third MSX Resource Center development contest: the MRC Bounce Challenge. Once again, many active MSX developers (novice and experienced) showed their skills by creating nice bouncy demos or games. A grand total of 15 entries were submitted, all of which are worth watching.

Hudson software has released a remake of their MSX game Tomato Princess on KDDI's au.

Moai-Tech continues as webzine

It has been a while since the last edition of the Spanish MSX fanzine Moai-Tech was released. After publishing 11 fanzines (the last of which was released on the 23rd MSX User Meeting in Barcelona) it became silent around this Spanish MSX group. Moai-Tech is about to break that silence as they are working on a comeback as a webzine.
