A new version of the F1-Spirit remake has just been released. It's the first release after the RetroRemakes compo, so it's called 'AC (After Compo) Version 1'. You can download it at this website.

Active visitors of our MSX forum already know about it. Leandro Correia, known for his Seal of Hades remake has been working on a remake of the popular Bytebusters MSX game Skooter.

Sander van Nunen, founder of the MSX Resource Center, found a couple of pictures he took on the MSX fair in Tilburg of 1990. He scanned them, added some nice comments and put them in the MSX Photoshoots section.

MSX in the Media: 48th and 49th nominee

Thanks to Keita Takagi or RetroPC.net two new nominations were found for the MSX in the Media challenge. However, these nominees leave a bit of a bad taste in the mouth.

10 years ago Near Dark released a music disk called Soepfiskje. In the years that followed they released many other products, but after the MSX fair in Zandvoort of 1997 they left the MSX scene. Now, 7 years later, they are back in action.

Eduardo Robsy (also known as pitpan) has updated his website once again. In a new, Spanish only, section called Rincón del ensamblador a tutorial for programming games in Assembly can be found. As an example, the game Pong Classic 0.1 is included, with full source code.

Feedback English - Release in Bussum

Delta Soft is known to aim for a release each fair. Sofar they haven't disappointed us and it almost seemed like they would break that aim, but just one day before the fair in Bussum their translator Tsunami managed to finish the translation of Feedback.

Ricardo Bittencourt has just released a port of a Colecovision version of Space Invaders, which is very close to the original Arcade version which had the early gamingworld in its grasp for a long time. The Colecovision port, Space Invaders collection, was created by Eduardo Mello of Opcode Games.
