MSXposse adds RSS feeds
As of today, MSX posse offer RSS feeds of their latest forum posts. If you have an RSS reader you can follow the latest threads on the RSS forums with great ease, by following the feed at http://www.msxposse.com/rss.php.
Hugo Sutherland spotted a review on the MSX emulator openMSX in the september edition of Linux Format.
We have just added a link to the Cobra Software website at our ever growing collection of links to MSX (related) websites. On the Cobra Software site you can find magazines and MSX software for download.
Enrico Barbisan informed us about the Vintage Computer Festival Italia, a retro computing event which will be held in Desenzano del Garda, Italy on the 4th and 5th of September. Several MSX fans will make sure the MSX computer system will be well-represented during this meeting.
The MRC Under Water Challenge has had some very nice entries. One of them is N-Sub, an arcade game from Sega, created in 1980. It was ported to the SG-1000 console but an MSX version never came.
In 1986, Casio released Yami no ryu ou Hades no monshou, a nice MSX1 shooting game.
Leandro Correia obviously is a big fan of this game, and is currently developing a Windows version of which you can download the latest beta version right here

Maximum penalty
SLotman of MSXFiles will release a new MSX game on the MSXRio 2004 user meeting: Maximum Penalty. After the fair both the game and its source code will be released on the website as well. For now you can already have a look at 2 screenshots.
