Zero Gravity
Juanma has just sent us a new Crappysoft release: Zero Gravity. The game has been added to our ever growing freeware MSX software archives. Zero Gravity is an MSX1 platform game coded in BASIC.
This weekend (from August 27th to August 29th, to be more specific) the annual MSX user meeting 'MSXRio' will be held in Rio, Brazil. Many active MSX developers and users from all over Brazil will gather to show, look at and talk about the latest developments in the (Brazilian) MSX community.
For the first time ever, MSX Resource Center will be there as well.

DrMSX, known for his high-quality OPLL+SCC+PSG songs for MSX has opened a new section on his website, 157, where he offers MP3 and MGS downloads of covers he created of songs he likes.
MNBIOS - status update
About two months ago the second demo version of MNBIOS, a new operating system for MSX, was released. Flyguille, the developer of MNBIOS is now working on a third demo version, which will be released somewhere in september. If all goes well this will be the last demo-release before the final release of the OS.

SjASM v0.39d
There's a new release of SjASM, the xl2s Z80 cross assembler for PC. New in this version:
- Fixed a structure initialization bug
- DZ and ABYTEZ directives to define null terminated strings
- Some LD, LDI and LDD 'instructions
