The MSX Resource Center Webshop has been online since September 2003. As of today we have implemented several improvements to the Webshop, which should make your online MSX sofware purchasing experience more pleasant than ever before.
2004 minigame compo
For the fourth year in a row an international multi-platform minigame competition is being held over here. The purpose of this competition is to create either a 1K or 4K game on NES, Plus/4, Atari 800, Atari 2600, Commodore 64/128 or VIC-20, Apple 2 or MSX.
More than a year ago Iwein van Caelenberg suddenly stopped hosting the msx2.com domain and all the websites that were hosting on his webserver. Ever since then the MSX software created by the Finnish MSX developer Nyyrikki have been hard to find on the internet.
Henk Bosman announced in our forums his Mopi Ranger Remake is very close to completion. Mopi Ranger was originally released by Konami in 1985 and now, almost 20 years later, there's this win32 remake of it.
Yesterday the extremely succesful MSXdev'04 competition was closed. The competition, that ran for 6 months, resulted in 16 new 8kB MSX1 games. Robsy had already announced there would be a follow-up in 2005, of which he has just disclosed the first details on the MSXposse forums.

Two hours ago the MSXdev'04 competition closed. The MSX1 game development contest turned out to be a huge success with a grand total of 16 new MSX1 games released since the contest started in february.
