The Asociación de Amigos del MSX will hold the 26th MSX Users Reunion in Barcelona on the 30th of october 2004. This time, it seems there is a cooperation with BCN Party again. We will keep you updated when more information about the meeting becomes available.

Laurens Holst (Grauw) has set a final date for the MSX fair in Bussum. This year it will be held on Saturday, October 9th. At the same location as last year, and still from 10:00 to 17:00 o'clock.

Chabinn released a new MSX song on Illusion City as a WMA file. It's a hard way in the suburbs is a cover of a song Konami used in the arcade game 'Hot Chase'. The song was created using PSG, OPLL and SCC and is not fully finished as of yet.

A Japanese MSX fan created the smallest MSX in the world to date. Well, actually it's a very small PC running the latest version of MSXPLAYer, connected to a small LCD screen and an MSX Game Reader. It's not a one chip MSX just yet, but it sure is a compact setup!

Just a few days after the release of IPS for MSX Albert Beevendorp has released a new version of this patcher. Here's a list of changes:

  • Made IPS file optional. Default will be the target filespec.ips
  • Added extension detection.

Generation MSX lists Spanish software

Generation MSX has been updated, adding a list of more than 250 games created by Spanish developers. There are no screenshots available of the games that have been added to Generation MSX's game information list, but they will be added in the near future.

Downtime MSX Resource Center

Due to server maintainance the MSX Resource Center was temporarily down today. The maintainance was not announced to us due to a communication error, therefor we weren't able to inform you, our visitors, in time. Nevertheless, the maintainance was necessary and hopefully we'll be operational for a long time without disruptions again.
