Almost a week later than usual, but here it is: the new MSX Resource Center downloads top 10. There are quite some changes compared to last month, this time, so lets have a look at the current top 10 downloads from our freeware downloads database.

A new version of RedMSX is released. This version has support for zipped DSK images. The emulator will extract the zip file to the RedMSX directory and open the DSK from there, giving full read/write access to it.

The linux part of ASCII24's website reviewed the MSX Magazine Matsuri (festival) today. This event, which was held November 30th, took place in the AsoBitCity building in Akihabara, Japan. ASCII24 gives a pretty detailed review of all events that day, like the opening speech by Mr.

Ricardo Bittencourt has released a new version of his emulator, especially conceived for Windows. The emulator still has its limitations (only MSX1 emulation and no sound support), it's still in development though.

Young Sherlock Portuguese 1.0

The final version of the Portuguese translation of Young Sherlock (a MegaROM starring a young Sherlock Holmes) has been released. The game is now fully translated, including the graphics. The ROM file is now also recompressed to its original 128kbyte size.

Chip32 v0.09

Chip32 is a VST instrument developed by the author of MidiPSG and VOPM. Although there are no actual models for Chip32, it's based on wave table synthesis.

You remember Arkanoid? Well, now there's Warkanoid. Based on the same theme of block busting action, game developer Kraisoft made three new variants of the old pong-like classic. Alien Sky is really a newly fashioned clone of the all time classic Galaga while Astrobatics is your new R-Type wannabee. I like Alien Sky best.

Well, it’s been a while since we reported (www.msx.org/newspost1436.html) about the Fuzz going online, and now seems the right time to announce the official launch! They sure kept us waiting, but the result was worth the wait.
