Generation-MSX website updated

Generation-MSX was updated with 334 MSX game covers, a new library system (which is not yet finished) and all MSX game passwords and tips from the previous Generation-MSX website. Generation-MSX has over 2500 screenshots of almost 2000 games in its database.

XCC opensource

Alex Wulms has open-sourced his Xelasoft utility XCC on SourceForce. XCC, which stands for Xelasoft Control Center, is a Norton Commander like tool for the MSX. The source code is released under GPL.

Metal Gear Box

Patriek Lesparre spotted an article on the Metal Gear Box, a product with quite a strange name as it seems to have nothing to do with the Konami Metal Gear series. The Metal Gear Box is an external aluminum sATA harddisk box which connects to a PC using USB2, manufactured by Eumax. We wonder how Konami feels about this product Wink

Ricardo Bittencourt has succeeded in creating a user-controleable flame demo in just 256 bytes. You can download this tiny yet impressive demo at Ricardo's site. To give you an idea of how small this program is: this newspost is exactly 256 bytes long. Amazing, isn't it?
