Project EGG have re-released Burai 2, shortly after re-releasing the first version of this addictive RPG, which was added, amongst other games, about two weeks ago.
Konami have announced they will release a special premium package of the upcoming Metal Gear Solid game: The Twin Snakes.
Since march 2003 Slotman, the webmaster of MSX files has been working on an MSX conversion of the popular PC game Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego. Yesterday, the game was officially announced and a special website about the game was launched.
Regular visitors of our Fairs and meetings section probably already noticed, saturday the 14th of february, there are being held no less than two MSX meetings in the Netherlands.
Yesterday we added Robsy's MSX Workshop to our links database, today Robsy's MSX Workshop has been renewed and redesigned. The new stuff:

When we first announced MNBIOS it came as a big surprise. People were surprised, but also doubted if some of the specifications mentioned were possible.
From time to time someone sends in a link to our links database which makes us wonder why we didn't add it already. Today, we have added a link to Robsy's MSX Workshop the website of Eduardo Robsy Petrus (aka Pitpan), an active developer who develops exclusively for the MSX1 platform.
Every month we have an overview of the 10 most downloaded files from our freeware downloads database, which now contains more than 400 files ready to be downloaded. Although the top 4 has not changed, there are quite some changes in the rest of the top 10 this month. Here goes:

MSX Assembly Page update
The MAP (MSX Assembly Page) has been updated again with the following:
- Corrected and added some information in the 'Multiplications and divisions using shifts' article.
- Added Sqr16, a square root routine by Arjan Bakker based on the one published in MCCM
- Re-calculated all timing figures to include M1 wait states.
Bombaman in French?
Team Bomba are currently working on several minor bugfixes of their game Bombaman, which was released on the Oss 2004 fair two weeks ago. As you can read in the Bombaman review, Bombaman is offered in various languages.
