A few months ago Okei released the source code of her most recent FAT16 driver. This code could be interesting for software and hardware developers who want to know how this patch works.

MSX Valley was updated with a review and walkthrough of Quattro, one of the freeware games that you can download from our freeware downloads database.

MSXPC - More than 100 sold

In a very short timespan (4 days after the announcement) more than 100 MSXPC's were sold in the ASCII MSX Store. With this, production of this limited edition PC is a fact. Contrary to our newsposts earlier, more MSXPC's will be produced.

North Netherlands developers meeting

Some weeks ago there was a discussion about an MSX-developers meeting place for the northern regions of the Netherlands. Two MRC users, Wolf and Legacy, who happen to live in the same village decided to think about the possiblities and found a location in Hoogeveen. In this room of 49 square meters a developers-meeting could be held.

fMSX-SDL 2.7.0.40 - sources

Today Vincent van Dam released the source code of fMSX-SDL 2.7.0.40. This emulator stays very close to the original fMSX, developed by Marat Fayzullin, but adds better sound and full screen graphics. However, only the source code is available.

openMSX Catapult for windows 1.2

There are loads of new features and changes, so here are some highlights:

ROM Diskmagazines on UMF Forum

The active demo group UMF started their activities on MSX. Apart from a large (and mainly MSX related) BBS they produced the ROM (Read Only Magazine) diskmagazines. The 6th issue of this magazine was the result of merging between Sunrise and UMF. Now, they have an active forum here. In one of the threads all 6 ROM diskmagazines can be dowloaded.

The popular 20th anniversary demo and Maggoo's Page Promo have been updated in order to work straight from MSX-DOS2.
