Yesterday we announced there will be a new ASCII MSX Festival during the MSX DenYu Land event. Today, the organization of DenYu land have updated their website. Currently, one can only browse the frontpage. If you want more information or give your opinion (both in Japanese, of course) you can join a special DenYu Land mailinglist.

On the 30th November ASCII and MSX Association will be hosting one of the most popular MSX Fairs in the world: MSX DenYu Land.

It's the first of the month again so about time to have a look at which files have been downloaded the most from our downloads database until now. Once again, the statistics show people are really eager for new MSX software. No matter if it are small or long demo's, games or applications, people download them a lot.

  • A very efficient routine for converting binary numbers to hexadecimal ASCII was added to the development FAQ
  • A new software section was added, with:
    - MSX2+ SubROM Emulator for MSX2 systems with V9958 videochip

Regular visitors of our website could have seen it coming. After a period in which our site was down for short periods of time giving various errors our website was barely reachable for about 5 days. The MSX Resource Center administrators drew their conclusions (and their wallets) and decided to move on to another web host who can offer us the uptime and service a website like this desires.

MSX Gamesbox have closed the period in which people could send in their artwork. This year the contest had a special theme: MSX - 20 years of gaming. As a result, 25 artworks can now be watched on this website.
