Today we've added a link to Kandahar's homepage, a web site in Spanish dedicated to King's Valley II.

Gaze, one of the many active visitors of the MSX Resource Center forums released a beta version of his FAC Soundtracker Player for PC today. This tool makes it possible to play .MUS files on your PC. Currently, only the MSX-MUSIC is emulated. In the future, Gaze plans to add MSX-AUDIO emulation as well.

Sieni Pakottaa is an X-BASIC demo for MSX turboR created by Nyyrikki as an entry for the BASIC competition at this year's Alt Party. His demo claimed the 4th position in this competition and is well worth having a look at.

A new version of PocketMSX, an MSX emulator for PocketPCs has been released yesterday. Although we weren't able to find a what's new, it has been a while since we reported about this emulator which comes in a MIPS and ARM version.

#msxdev IRC moves to Rizon

The popular MSX IRC channel #msxdev has moved to the Rizon network. IRC is a great way to meet people from all over the world and chat about MSX with them.

After having announced a temporary move earlier, ongoing problems have forced the #msxdev management to make the move permanent.

Today, Takeda Toshiya released an CP/M emulator for Windows capable of running CP/M .com files. To accomplish this, Z80 emulation is included as well. As you probably know, MSX is capable of running CP/M programs, like the PMARC/PMEXT compression suite. Using this emulator, it is possible to use this software on PC as well.
