In this forum thread we could already see the first announcements and specifications of MicroWAVer, an ultra-fast cassette loader for MSX. MicroWAVer uses Windows 9x or Windows XP. By connecting your PC to your MSX cassette port you can load cassette games (WAV files) a lot faster than with standard cassettes.

Enrico Barbisan pointed us to this website where one can view 37 pictures taken on the Spresiano retrocomputing meeting which was held on September 28th, 2003.

ON Konamiman's website a beta version of Internestor Lite can be found. In december 2002 Néstor Soriano finished his studies with Internestor Suite, a toolkit that allowed any MSX2 with 256kB RAM, DOS2 and an RS232 interface to connect to the internet.

Maggoo surprises us again with a new version of Vscreen, the universal platform game engine he is developing. Some features in the latest release:

  • Support for sound effects in SEE format ("levelname".see)
  • Collision detection with enemies implemented.
