ROMLOAD version 1.99p
A few days ago Albert Beevendorp aka BiFi has released a new release of his tool ROMLOAD. It's a tool that can load about any ROM image up to 64 KB into a Konami Sound Cartridge that comes with Snatcher and SD-Snatcher. With an upgraded Sound Cartridge it's even possible to load 1MegaROM images.
As of today, more than 500 MRC members have listed themselves in the MSX Resource Center contacts list, which is a service only available to MRC members.
Shinobi 1.0
Daniel Caetano has ported the ZX Spectrum game Shinobi to MSX. Although this game was ported to MSX before, this version addresses many (if not all) of the problems the existing ports had.
Earlier, we reported about Sander Zuidema's visit to Japan at the end of November, 2003. Shortly afterwards, on December 18th, our newly acquired webmaster Rieks Warendorp Torringa went to Japan to celebrate Christmas and New Year together with his girlfriend, who is currently studying at a Japanese university.
Ever since may 2002 Project EGG have been selling re-releases of popular games for several platforms (MSX, PC-8801, Sega Master System etc.). Using legal emulators, these games can now be enjoyed on Windows PC's.

GFX9000 library 0.003
Today, the GFX9000 library was extended with support for loading the new GFX9000 Bitmap files (.G9B). If you would like to have more information on this new file format, you can check the GFX9000 library forum.
A new version of V9BMP was released as well, adding support for this file type.
KbMediaPlayer which supports OPX and, when using the MSXPlug plugin, KSS, BGM, MPK and MGS formats, has been updated to version 2.34 beta 3. This is the Japanese vesion. The English version has been updated to version 2.33.
