On the Snake Soup a petition has been put up. The goal of this petition is to motivate Konami to re-release Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake in Japan, Europe and America for any currently existing system.
Last night a new beta-version of the Portuguese translation of Konami's Shalom (a.k.a. Knightmare 3) was released. In this version almost everything is translated, except for the credits.
MSX Banzai! updated
MSX Banzai! was updated with AniMecha animation player source code and some additions and corrections to the Gfx9000 Programmers Manual.
Today we received the second entry for the MRC Snowfall Challenge. Using a MSX Resource Center screenshot as a background, WYZ (aka Maso Jose) lets the snow fall on your MSX. This demo was coded in Assembly. Its source code is included, so if you are curious you can have a look at how things were done.
Today we added a link to MSX Projetos to our links databases. On this website the latest hardware developments of Mr. Carchano are listed and sold. Carchano creates products like IDE interfaces, fast diskdrive interfaces, MegaRAM cartridges, cool Slotexpanders and the upcoming CIEL 3++ MSX computer.
Bargain 5.10
A new version of the image compression toolkit Bargain was released a few days ago. This program compresses and decompresses pictures for SCREEN5 - SCREEN 12. In this version some small changes to the lay-out of the program were made and the machine code was optimized.
Every year, just a couple of weeks after newyear, MSX NBNO hosts their "newyears" MSX fair. Keeping up with tradition, MSX NBNO opens the fair doors on Saturday the 17th of January 2004.
Today we have added several demo's created by the Dutch demo group Fuzzy Logic.
