The final version of the Portuguese translation of Young Sherlock (a MegaROM starring a young Sherlock Holmes) has been released. The game is now fully translated, including the graphics. The ROM file is now also recompressed to its original 128kbyte size.
Falcom announced that YS VI - The Ark of Napishtim is coming to console systems before the end of 3rd quarter 2004.

You remember Arkanoid? Well, now there's Warkanoid. Based on the same theme of block busting action, game developer Kraisoft made three new variants of the old pong-like classic. Alien Sky is really a newly fashioned clone of the all time classic Galaga while Astrobatics is your new R-Type wannabee. I like Alien Sky best.

On november 22nd we started the MRC Snowfall Challenge. The purpose of this programming contest is creating a demo for MSX which contains an effect in which you can see snow falling.
On MSX Magazine Festival the winners of the MSX-BASIC programming contest were announced. As of now, the submitted games are available on the MSX Association Website. The winner made a highly original and very entertaining system, in which the objective is to fill as many tyres of bicycles with air as quickly as possible. Go check it out!
Project EGG have released the game Kohaku for both Windows PC's and PocketPC. There are now about 100 MSX games for sale again on this Engrossing Game Gallery webshop.
About 5 weeks ago ASCII started selling MSX gear in their ASCII MSX Store. As of today, a new MSX item is available at ASCII, being the MSX Calendar designed by Kazuoki Ono, who also designed the cover of MSX Magazine 2.
