TNI have added a listing of their past products to their TNI MSX page.
On the MSX Gamesbox a review of the Compile disk magazine Discstation 7 was added. This discstation contains demo versions of Aleste 2, Rune Master, Firehawk and more.
Marcel Delorme's Magic MWM Replayer, the first MWM Replayer for the GFX9000 has support for skins. With the SKIN tool made by BiFi you can create your own. As of august the 20th a new skin called "Green console" can be downloaded for the Magic MWM replayer. Get it at: members.chello.nl/m.delorme/
After the release of Sorcerian English it seemed it didn't work on a Philips NMS 8245. Apparently Sorcerian English had problems with some Philips computers. Sony and other brand of MSX computers don't experience these problems. Thanks to Martos and Saeba the game now can run on all Philips computers. Also a graphics bug was discovered resulting in one of the characters being invisible.
Oon March 13th the MSXdev'03 competition was started in order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our beloved MSX computers. Several contestants joined in and began creating new MSX1 products.
In our search for the best MSX game song ever we started a sub-quest for the best PSG song ever 5 days ago. 10 songs moved on to the third round, on which you can cast your votes now.
Fast Novaxis ROM
The Novaxis SCSI interface has always been one of the fastest SCSI interfaces for MSX. Marcel Delorme has taken a close look to its ROM (version 1.51) and has developed an even faster Novaxis ROM for MSX2/2+. An MSX2/2+ with 7.16Mhz can read upto 348Kb/s with this rom. turboR users better stick to the original ROMs though.
NFDISK 1.3
A new version of NFDISK, the partitioning tool for Novaxis SCSI interfaces was released today.
Today the PSG Sound Effect Editor by Fuzzy Logic was added to the downloads. It's a tracker like editor to design PSG sound effects for games, demo's or anything you want sound effects for. Samples of this editor can be previewed in several games already released.
