On the 27th of june 2003 the MSX Association have changed their policies regarding the use of the MSX logo. The MSX Association holds the trademark 'MSX'. In order to allow all MSX users to employ this trademark in a wide range of situations, they have established conditions regarding the use of the 'MSX' and 'MSXPLAYer' logo's.
On this years Wireless Japan, which is a mixture of an Exhibition, a Conference and a Workshop, there will be demonstrations of MSXPLAYer as part of the Open Contents Platform Association activities.
Nyyrikki released a new version of his Z80 emulator for Z80 today. This new version redirects all I/O and memory routines.
Gradius V
This fall, Konami is going to release a new game in the Gradius (Nemesis) Saga: Gradius 5.
As officially announced today, Engine Software and worldwide publisher Playlogic International have signed a cooperation agreement spanning 2.5 years. Besides that, Playlogic International has also purchased 49% of our shares, previously owned by the Foreign Media Group.
The MSX Assembly Page (MAP) has been updated today. Since its launch on April 23rd this year, the MAP is a very interesting website on which you can find in-depth information on MSX software development. As the name of the site indicates, most attention goes to coding Z80 assembly.
Retro Games Magazine
By the end of this month a new computer magazine will be intruduced in Spain: Retro Games Magazine. The magazine will cover information on retro games and retro systems. Our beloved MSX system will also get some coverage. Every three months a new magazine will be released. of course MSX is inside too!

Another file for the software section. This is the SVI738 communications ROM disassembly and the RS232 system variables. Since this is a MSX standard it is also applicable to other MSX RS232 implementations!

When we started our mega-poll in search of the best MSX2 game ever, we didn't suspect it would be even more succesful than the Best MSX1 game ever mega-poll. However, right from the start an average of 50 people contributed to nominations and voting in each seperate round.
