We are collecting contact information and pricelists of MSX clubs and organisations that still sell MSX hardware or software, cables, printer ribbons, modifications and whatever more you can think of regarding MSX. If you have this information, please send your item list to us in ascii or .xls format. Don`t forget to include your prices in euro`s or us dollars.

FAT16 for MSX

Although Sunrise didn`t release the FAT16 software for their ATA-IDE interface on the Bussum fair, they told us that the software will be available at their website somewhere next week. Keep an eye on www.msx.ch the next couple of days!

New in NLMSX v0.29:

  • Added full support for a normal SCC.
  • Added full support for a SCC+ with 128kyte ram.
  • Added a SCC+ memory type.
  • Multiple SCC/SCC+ cartridge combinations are possible.
  • Changed the arabic configuration. Memory mapper in slot 3-2 and the disk rom in slot 3-3.

This is a bit off topic but there is a new version of Mame released. This new version has support for one of the greatest konami arcade shooters of all time: XEXEX! The driver still lacks sound but the gameplay is great.

MoonSounds and V9958 chip

Sunrise for MSX will produce a new, limited amount of MoonSound cartridges!!! You can sign in on the list at the Bussum fair, or contact them by email (rhiep@msx.ch or pburkhard@freesurf.ch).Also, there is a large amount of v9958 chips available.
