A couple of weeks ago the MSXGamesbOX started a Wallpaper contest in co-operation with the MSX-Xpress & Affiliates. During one month MSX fans from all around the world made beautiful pieces of art which varied from wallpapers, screensavers to interactive Flash animations.
MSX Around the world contest
Official sources recently confirmed that over 5 million MSX computers were sold world-wide. Our website statistics show that the visitors of our site come from all over the world. Knowing this we decided to start a small contest called 'MSX Around the world'.

fMSXSO website moved
Due to hosting problems, the official fMSXSO website moved to another domain. fMSXSO is a free Japanese MSX emulator based on fMSX. Recently, version 1.31 of this emulator was released.
Javel
Javel stands for Java Emulation Library. This library clears the way for quite impressive online emulation. The library currently supports a self-made Z80 library, the wellknown EMU2413 (OPLL) package and a SN76496 library, which makes it possible to play several Sega Mastersystem games online. It's nice to see some titles that were released on MSX as well in their Sega versions.
ASCII have once again updated the MSX Magazine 2003 website. Of course we did some translation for you and bring you the facts in English.As reported earlier, the official releasedate of the Magazine has been set at december 24, 2002. Several online bookstores are already pre-selling the magazine.

A few moments ago, a new version of the popular MSX Emulator NLMSX was released. NLMSX is one of the two MSX Emulators that is capable of emulating the MSX turboR computer. It also supports the most used MSX Sound chips PSG, FM-PAC, SCC and MSX-Audio.
