Nyyrikki, the developer of the Brainfuck entry to the Snowfall challenge and the Z80/R800 emulator for MSX likes to take an unexpected approach. For the MRC Bounce Challenge he decided not to code an entry in ASM, Pascal, C, Brainfuck or BASIC. It does bounce however. How? Nyyrikki's Bounce entry is a plain VT-52 textfile optimized for MSX1, WIDTH 40 with diskdrive. You can get it right here.
In the MRC Bounce Challenge both experienced and novice MSX developers can show how fun (and easy) it can be to develop for MSX. By joining the competition you can win one or more prizes which we will soon announce. As we will also pick one or two winners randomly, there are more than enough reasons to join. Show the MSX community your skills! Entries to the bounce challenge can be sent to bounce@msx.org and have to be sent before October 11th, 23:59 CET. This means you still have about a month left to complete your entries. Good luck!
