Right after Cabir, the second virus for Symbian phones has arrived. This one has been specifically designed to Nokia Series 60 phones, but virus experts expect it to spread to other Sybian-based phones soon. It's name? fMSX/S60.
Unlike Cabir, which only prints 'Caribe' on-screen and keeps spreading itself using Bluetooth thus reducing the battery-life of the mobile phone, fMSX/S60 is a lot more agressive. It enables the user of the Symbian phone to play many MSX games, which include some of the coolest games ever made. This leads to total addiction. People who (accidentally or not) install the virus on their phone will never be the same again. In trains, on the bus, at schools, at work, in church, during boring lectures... everywhere the victim of the virus cannot resist the tendency to play as much MSX games as possible, thus reducing the battery-life of the Symbian phones to an absolute minimum.
Virus experts around the world are stunned by the effectiveness of fMSX/S60. Symantec and Kaspersky labs have lost many of their most experienced anti-virus experts, who are now completely hooked on playing MSX games. A McAfee representative already stated it is probably not very likely an antivirus for fMSX/S60 can ever be developed. You have been warned.
