It's mentioned in Wikipedia (Japanese) together other HD interfaces but that's all --> http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/MSX I tried to find more info but unsuccessful. Help should come from Japanese users then...

I requested a catalog to EJ, but there was no reply.

Previously I heard that:
Some people ordered the IDE interface, and sent a money. However, the hardware was not delivered.
Some people ordered the IDE interface, and received the hardware and FD. However, it could not be used because FD was empty.
Some other people could use the IDE interface. However, the driver may have some bug.

There are a lot of bad rumors about EJ.

Hi all
It's amazing, more than 8 years later a japanese guy sent me the installation disk.
Now interface works well, I need to replace gold-capa.
Many thanks to him and his Friend.

I'm the Japanese guy EJ MSX-IDE was used for developing Moon Light saga, and its developer once lent it to me. Though I hardly used it and don't own one anymore, I still keep the utilities. MLS has MSX-IDE specific harddisk installation instruction (old thread) on Appendix here.
