Hello Mika,

I would like correct your english, always if you let me, please (^_^)

Example: You do not use "Im" but you must to use "I'm" in format contracted
instead if you must to use normal english, then you must to use " I am".
And don't forget instead of put " i " you must learn to put " I "

I hope of to be of help for you.....

However, I am in project of make a course of Italian/English for MSX1 in code basic.
For now is all......
Best Regards
(^_*)
AG.

I see a hierarchy forming when everyone corrects the language of a user one level below. So far I think there are three distinct levels here! Hannibal

gasparrini: I made a bit more real English of both of your posts. Do with this whatever you want, but I would not even take English lessons from myself (there is probablty a mistake in there somewhere, but still...), let alone from someone who seems to use google translate....

For your last post:

"I am a very serious man".
And for the other post:

"Hello Mika,

I would like to correct your English, if you don't mind.

Example: You should not use "Im" but you should have used "I'm" instead. I'm is actually short for "I am". Also, please do not forget that the word i is always written with a capital I.

I hope I have been some help you to you

I happen to be creating a course for learning English from Italien. Its for MSX1 written in Basic

That is all.

With kind regards,
"

@gasparrini

You're making friends like nobody's busines today!

Let's just assume everybody here tries to do their level best to make their contributions to this forum readable and understandable, ok? I'm sure my Italian is much better than your Dutch, but I'm not going to rub that in your face because I know Dutch is a difficult language to learn.

Instead we're using English as the language of choice here, and of course we make mistakes in doing so. So what?! Let's refrain from pointing out each other's (lingual) mistakes and just try to be, whatever our differences, a big family here. Or at least like-minded friends.

On a sidenote: it is well-known that over 75% of communication is non-verbal. So even if you pointed out Mika's 'errors' in all good friendship, in writing it can appear arrogant and annoying instead (which it did).

Best regards,

Michiel
